Orange Fluff

Ingredients

Makes: 16 small servings as fluff or a 9x9 inch frozen dessert

2 cups Classic Homemade Whipped Cream or Vegan Coconut Whipped Cream Recipe

1 (500g) tub cottage cheese, drain out the liquid

1 (284ml) can mandarin oranges, we used organic Native Forest brand packed in its own juice

1 (398ml) can crushed pineapples, we used Dole non GMO packed in its own juices

2 Tablespoons gelatin powder

3 cups mini marshmallows, we used Dandies brand natural flavored non GMO branch

6 drops Young Living brand natural Orange essential oil, which is naturally extracted orange oil food grade (OPTIONAL)

Directions

1. Make the whipped cream: Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe

2. We used coconut whipped for this recipe, you can use either coconut cream or dairy cream to make your whipped cream.

3. You will notice that coconut cream does not whip the same as dairy cream does. It has a more grainy texture to it and does get as fluffy.

4. Strain the juice out of the cottage cheese through a sieve and discard.

5. Strain the juices from the mandarin orange slices and the crushed pineapple. You can drink these yummy juices!

6. In a large mixing bowl combine the cottage cheese and fruits and stir to combine.

7. Stir in the gelatin and marshmallows and the Young Living Natural Orange Drops if you are using.

8. Fold in the whipped cream.

9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors combine.

10. You can add the orange drops from Young Living after refrigerating instead of before.
