Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 cup sugar (we used cane sugar)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pinch salt
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 325 F.
2. Grease a 9-inch or small rectangle baking tray with butter or your choice of oil. You can also skip the grease and line the pan with parchment paper.
3. In a medium mixing bowl with an electric mixer on low speed, blend the eggs with the sugar, butter, flour, cocoa, vanilla, and salt. Increase the mixer speed to medium-high and beat for 3-4 minutes.
4. Fold the chocolate chips and walnuts into the batter.
5. Scoop the batter into the prepared pan.
6. Bake in the preheated oven F for 25 to 35 minutes. Check your brownies for doneness, the sides will pull off slightly from the pan.
